High Rock

Our hike up High Rock last summer with the Bauers had spectacular views aplenty - definitely a new favorite. Carl recalled this hike from his childhood, and described to me his most vivid memory of looking over the edge of the tallest, sheerest cliff edge he'd ever seen. Sure enough, there's a dizzying 1,400-foot drop beneath the apex of the hike that'll make your knees weak, but provides ideal visibility for a fire lookout. Can't wait to go back.
